Lent 2014

Catholicism Programme

What is it?
Fr. Robert Barron created this ground-breaking programme as a thematic presentation of what Catholics believe and why, so that all adults can come to a deeper understanding of the Catholic Faith. Through a series of videos filmed in 50 locations in 15 countries we are immersed in the art, architecture, literature, music and all the treasures of the Catholic tradition to illuminate the timeless teachings of the Church. Who is it for?
Everyone, no matter what background or faith, who is interested in deepening their understanding of the Catholic faith is very welcome.

As a parish, we have now run two full sessions of Fr. Robert Barron's CATHOLICISM programme, and we are now nearly finished a third. Until now, we have been running these sessions monthly on weekday evenings at 7.30pm ? 9pm and the overall feedback on the programme has been excellent.

Now, through popular demand we will also run a daytime programme for those that cannot attend the evening sessions. To be held from 9.30am ? 11.30am on a weekly basis starting on Monday 30th September.  Both programmes will finish at the beginning of December so they will also be a meaningful way to prepare for the joyful season of Advent.

Where is it?
Come along to the Parish Centre, 2 Dukes Avenue, Chiswick W4 by Our Lady of Grace and St Edward Church, where we'll watch and exchange ideas on Father Barron's 50 minute video. There is no need to sign up and, of course, the programme is free of charge.
