Parish Priest: Fr Michael Dunne
Fr Michael Dunne became parish priest at Our Lady of Grace and St Edward and St Dunstan's Gunnersbury in September 2016. He was previously parish priest of Our Lady and St Catherine of Siena, Bow, in east London.
Assistant Priest: Fr Andrew Chamiec
Fr Andrew was ordained deacon in 2013, ordained priest in June 2014, and started in the parish in September 2014. He was born in London, and subsequently lived in Yorkshire, Kent, Buckinghamshire before finally settling in Hertfordshire. Growing up in faith was a normal part of life, says Fr Andrew, and, as a family, they went to church every Sunday. Fr Andrew became seriously ill while at secondary school and had a profound experience of God in hospital. As a result, he says, "my faith became much more real and the idea of a vocation matured". After school, Fr Andrew worked for a year and then spent the next two years running retreats, mainly in Catholic schools with a team called Faith Alive who were based in Coventry. He studied at college and afterwards spent nine months working for a Catholic charity called Youth 2000, which ran retreats in schools. He spent two years doing youth work in London before working in Waitrose. Fr Andrew applied for the diocese in 2007 and started at Allen Hall (the diocesan seminary) in the autumn of 2008. Part of the formation involved pastoral placements, which included Fulham Road, Kingsland (Hackney), Wood Green, The Royal Marsden Hospital, Westminster cathedral and various parishes. Fr Andrew spent his pastoral year in Chiswick in 2011-12.
