St Mary’s Catholic School

We are rightly proud of our local Catholic primary school, which is located on Duke’s Road, a few minutes walk from our church.  St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a Catholic Voluntary Aided School in the Diocese of Westminster and sits within the Hounslow Local Authority boundary.

The school works closely with parents and the rest of the Parish to ensure that at the heart of the school are the thoughts, actions, love and care inspired by the teaching of the Gospel and always seeks to be a witness to Jesus Christ.  Fr Jakub serves as the school’s chaplain, regularly attending for various events and assemblies, and Canon Michael is one of the school’s governors, so the school is highly integrated with parish life.

As Catholic educators, the St Mary’s teachers recognise the uniqueness of every child, and seek to celebrate and nurture their ambitions, talents and God-given gifts.  With Christ at the Centre, they enable every child to flourish and reach their full potential.  The knowledgeable, dedicated staff are committed to doing their very best to support each pupil to grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically.

St Mary’s teachers work consistently to achieve excellence in everything that they do, and place particular focus on providing a rich and challenging academic curriculum that equips the children with the knowledge and skills that they need for future success.  Inspiring learning experiences are instigated throughout the school so that every child can achieve and be challenged to do their very best.

As Chiswick is a very dynamic location, there is always movement in and out of the parish and local area and school places may be available throughout the year.  Any Catholic families that are moving into the parish, returning to it or are evaluating whether they should seek accommodation in the Chiswick area with children in the age ranges of 3 – 11, should contact the school to find out if places will be available whenever they arrive or are due to travel.  The St Mary’s leadership team will be delighted to be able to show you the school and will be able to help advise you on whether your children will be able to attend a state-funded school and will support you through the application process.
